New Fitness Regime

After two crazy busy, awesome and exhausting weeks at home for the holidays, we are back in Baltimore for my husbands next medical rotation, Psychiatry. With Internal Medicine behind us, it feels good to be moving on but it is nice to stay in the same city for a bit longer!

I was very sad to leave home again but life's about the journey right? And Baltimore has really grown on me so, I was a bit excited to get back and to our temporary "home".

During the holidays we were completely in vacation mode, which was great and much needed but it had to end at some point. With a few extra pounds in tow and a sluggish feeling consuming me, I am ready to jump back into my routine of healthy eating and I am putting together a new fitness program. Truth be told, I used to work out about 5 days a week at home. I'm a sucker for routine. But when my routine was shaken up due to this [fun, crazy, rewarding and sometimes stressful] journey, I haven't been able to stick to a consistent schedule. So I'm looking for something to get me back in the swing of things and help keep me committed. And I think I have found just that!

The barre trend has been on the rise in the last few months and I haven't tried a class yet! A local barre studio has a great offer that I can't wait to take advantage of!

I really enjoy yoga, various exercise classes and weight lifting so I think this will be the perfect addition to jazz up my workout regime and bring back my love and commitment to fitness! I love having a work out partner or community to keep me on track and accountable so I am hoping Pop Physique can do the trick.
