Have you made any resolutions for the New Year?

I don't normally make new years resolutions and I haven't made any for 2015. I do believe new years resolutions are a great way to start a new year but I also believe you don't need a new year to have a fresh start or set new goals. If you are setting new goals for yourself this year, I hope you are able to achieve them!

I find my goals are more attainable when I share them as I have a larger feeling of responsibility and ownership. Below I have shared one of my primary goals to hold me accountable.

One ongoing goal I have for myself is to stay healthy. That is a pretty broad goal and for me, includes many things. To me this includes, eating healthy (but allowing myself to indulge when I feel necessary), staying active and challenging myself. I challenge myself by pushing myself outside of my comfort zone, working on a new project or learning something new. Sometimes I waver from my goals but I don't beat myself up over it. I remember why I set this goal in the first place and bring myself back to what I value. For me, it's that feeling inside, the energy I have when I eat well, exercise and push myself. For you, it might be something different.

Whether you make New Years resolutions this year or you are constantly modifying your goals, I hope you start the New Year off with some fresh visions and goals ahead.
